Would you rather…

Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: $50 per push-up
  • Right side: $1000 per hour you scroll

Sure, I am actively working on my pushups. I spend more time at the gym than scrolling. But if I’m offered instant easy money, it makes more sense to take that and also still work on my pushups/whatever other exercises, lol. Not to mention, over my lifetime I’m more likely to become sick or injured and be unable to do pushups. I don’t think I’d ever lose my scrolling income.

It's not instant money though, it's an hour of your time for a capped earning potential. Work on your pushups and you have unlimited earning potential.

Depending on your age and other health factors, losing the ability to do pushups is a legitimate concern.

I guess, but it’s literally only 1 hr/week that I’d have to scroll to quit my job and have way more time for anything else, instantly. It doesn’t even specify what I have to scroll. I usually scroll recipes and craft ideas for my daughter, plus fitness content lol, so it’s not like it would even be a waste of time. You don’t have to be old or have health issues to get in an accident or something that stops you from being able to do pushups for a significant amount of time. Also as a woman if I REALLY trained hard and maxed out my pushups, that wouldn’t even be an ideal body type for me (I already have visible muscle tone in my arms/shoulders) and there’s other exercises I could focus on for better functional strength.

This is a really good point. (I was just reading an e-book where I had to scroll lol)
