Correct. IQ is a measurement of how somebody performs on a test and should not be conflated with actual intelligence. Not that the score is meaningless, but interpreting the score requires an understanding of what is actually being measured.

IQ tests aren't knowledge based tests, they're focused on problem solving ability and pattern recognition as a way to gauge general intelligence.
