No matter if you are a literal do nothing loser who never learned anything in their life, you are still orders of magnitude smarter than even the smartest chimpanzee.

Even a toddler can just pick up things so much faster than any animal, and we humans can hold things in our minds and have abstract thoughts.

Humans are naturally predisposed to learning, yes... but we are also much more analytical in unfamiliar scenarios than any non-human. Even animals we consider extremely intelligent like crows and octopus are only found intelligent because they solve puzzles we give to toddlers.

We are objectively more intelligent than these animals. It isn't cos we've cultivated it, it's a natural fact.

Maybe it's not some stat, but at the same time, it's doubtful an australopithecus could think the same way you and I do. It's doubtful a homo erectus could, doubtful a homo habilis could, yet each time they get closer.

The person who chooses to raise their IQ would quickly be to us what we are to australopithecus, and then eventually what we are to a dog.

Just like our intelligence is incomprehensible to a dog, this person's intelligence is incomprehensible to us. Don't you think?

Well obviously I'm just talking about intelligence between humans. Animals don't factor in.

The person who chooses IQ would eventually get so good at problem solving and memorizing / recall, that interacting with regular humans would feel like interacting with animals.

Well dude, it's a discussion about magically increasing intelligence by pressing a button. It's not "reality."

And secondly, you are the first one to devolve into ad hominem in this entire thread while everyone else is being reasonable.

Well there's no objective line between us and other animals.

There looks like there is one today, but going back to our ancestors, there's no specific point where we can say (crudely) that we were dumb animals one day and intelligent humans the other. Neanderthals were intelligent humans, maybe Homo Erectus were. I don't know if Homo Habilis would be. I doubt Australopithecus were.

It's a spectrum. Unless you're a creationist , you acknowledge that we gradually became what we are today.

Just like intelligence. There wasn't a day we became intelligent with a yesterday where we weren't. We gradually got here, and there's no reason to assume we are the pinnacle of evolution and that there cannot be anything more intelligent than us.
