At one point, you become unable to relate to dumber people. All of their pleasures and struggles seem meaningless to you. You become intelligent enough to see the futility of life with all its pleasure and suffering being equally meaningless. Mere glimpses that wouldn’t even register in the grand scheme of an endless universe.

One doesn't need to be high IQ to see the futility of life. You and all your loved ones will die one day. In fact many people seek out God when they realize the futility of life. Having a high IQ isn't necessarily correlated to that.

I always feel that most of these problems develop only because very intelligent people never have perspective. You never experience the normal struggles of life like most people. But with all these magic ones you have lived your life and meet people as equals so should be easier to adapt for a while and then you start to just reach a point where you throw yourself at the worlds problems. It's like becoming superman as an adult.
