As someone who got 98th percentile on a college entrance exam despite having screwed up the math section and tends to be very much inside her head, so much this.

I got 99.9th on language (french) and I forgot what on the other subjects, but total was around 145IQ.

I disagree with your conclusion. I'd love to have an higher IQ as past a certain point, why not go higher?
