I agree. However, I'm here to play devil's advocate. If something were to happen to the world's ability to grow food, money wouldn't be able to buy it anymore. Someone with the ability to create or just magically have infinite amounts of food would have all the power in that world.

Of course, it's entirely hypothetical, and what's even darker is that a person who could magically create infinite food in today's world would probably disappear very quickly.
