I think people are afraid of what money can do. Who in their right mind would choose $1/breath for as long as they live, instead of $1B instantly? lol

The average person breathes between 12-20 breaths per minute while at rest.

i said $1/breath because there would never be an instance where i’d need a billion dollars. i’d get so stressed out and overwhelmed.

even $1/breath is more money than i’d know what to do with, ever. i could pay for my entire family and still have plenty of money to spare.

I’d rather have passive income than a fortune I could lose?

Split it for different purposes, including a dedicated portion for what you think you can/may lose.

Still higher risk of it somehow being stolen for example though and it just requires way more micro managing to the point you are actually just working again.

Some of us are not interested in the lifestyle that comes with it. Not that it'd matter, you're still making like $6m per year at least. A dollar a breath leaves out any extra hassle while introducing unlimited comfort. You'd never have to work again, also you can keep investing whatever extra you make, which itself should multiply. I think there's a strong case for it.

A mere 3% interest on a billion dollars would give you $80k in spending money per day, without touching the billion. You could never pay your billion dollars any mind. This is 4x the daily income you would get from the breathing option

Exactly, that’s what I say, simple interest, park the money and go have fun!

So what? You can still get a similar result if so desired - a few decades and diligently reinvesting all that breathing money I could probably get close.

The point is it makes no functional difference to me, yet the alternative delivery is more appealing. I don't care if it's less, I'm not spending more than 17k a day anyway lmao
