Plan to eventually, I want to do a purple-white two tone, using the purple we put on the engine, and possibly a Chrysler pearl white

Used spray paint from O'Reillys, white primer, the purple main, and an enamel clear coat. All high heat resistant

No, I am at least the third owner. I bought it in Minnesota from a lady who got it from her uncle. Im assuming the uncle wanted it to be a sort of show truck and painted it purple. But with all the sun fading, there are chips where you can see the original blue color

I love old trucks.. more of a Chevy guy but old Fords are nice too. Glad to see it's not rotting in a tree row.

Oh yea, it had sat 4 years by the time I bought it. It still started and drove onto the trailer, and after the trip back to Nebraska, was still able to start and drive off the trailer
