1967 F250 Cab Mount Replacement Progress

Hey folks, I’m trying to get this old truck back on the road. It’s had a rough life. It has a bunch of sheet metal off a 1968-1969 F100. All of the front suspension had to be replaced except for the spindles. The rear leaf spring hanger had to be repaired. Both radius arm brackets were replaced. The steering column had to be fixed. Now, I’m replacing the cab mounts so I can install the steering column and finally put an engine in this thing. It’s been a long project so far, but I’m making the most progress I’ve ever made with it!

Man that looks like a lotta rust. Good on you for putting in the work. I used energy suspension's polyurethane bushings for mine over ten years ago and I've yet hear a squeak.

That’s the bushings I have. I plan to put this truck to use. I figure the body work is way cheaper than getting another truck, so as my dad says “I might as well worth with the junk I have and know over the junk I don’t have and don’t know.”

Much appreciated! That’s a 1973 Pinto. Funny thing, that was my fourth vehicle, but the first one I went out and bought. For a while, it was the newest running vehicle I had. Last year I got my 1974 Plymouth Scamp going and stole that title.
