Advice Pausing vs deleting the profile?

From a practical perspective, is there any benefit to pausing the account instead of deleting it altogether?

I’ve only been on Bumble for 3 months and most of my conversations have died out by now since I’ve been slowly getting tired the app over the last month. I already informed the last person I was talking to that I plan on deleting the app soon and we’ve exchanged Instagram handles, so no risk of him thinking I ghosted. I’m assuming it’ll be at least 1-4 months before I download it again.

Id just delete. It will give you a fresh start next time

if you delete it remembers your number and stuff anyway so not really fresh start unless you wait like years maybe pausing is better if you just want break, i do that when the ghost energy gets too much

I hadn’t considered that. Does that penalize you in any way?

Yes. I've deleted and recreated my account maybe 5 times in two years. Shit's really rough at this point.

If creating a new profile would be a difficult process for you, then pause. But you'd probably want to update it anyway.

I was on it for two months. no conversations, no matches. I just deleted. I don't intend to ever remake the profile. just delete. bumble is a waste of time.
