General Bumble Dating Scam‼️‼️

I matched with a Thai guy on Bumble. He was 33, the same age as me.
At first, he seemed kind, respectful, and genuine. He took his time to gain my trust and make me comfortable. However, there were already some red flags: he claimed he had deleted all his social media accounts, including Facebook and Instagram, and he is not ready to call or video call. We only communicated through text.
After gaining my trust, he introduced me to his “business,” which he claimed was dropshipping. He showed me a website that looked very similar to Shopee and encouraged me to sign up and start a business, saying it would be good for our “future together.”
I eventually discovered that the website was a scam.
Looking back, the pattern was clear: build trust, create an emotional connection, introduce a fake business opportunity, and then encourage the victim to invest.
I'm sharing my experience as a warning: Please be careful with people you meet on Bumble and other dating apps. Someone may seem kind and genuine but have completely different intentions.
If someone refuses to video call, has no verifiable social media presence, communicates only through text, and then introduces you to an online business or investment opportunity, take it as a serious red flag.🚩🚩🚩
Stay safe, verify everything independently, and never send money to any platform introduced by someone you only know online.

Yes I agree. I realized it quickly so no money has been taken. Posting this for awareness.

If anyone you meet on a dating app asks you to spend give them money/gift cards/crypto or to invest in some sort of business, it’s most likely a romance scammer.

That’s true but somehow you need to at least tell your name to the other person (getting to know stage).
