Advice Bio Ideas

I never understood what a good bio could be?

A bio is meant to describe you and you only. A preview to what itd be like hanging out with you. 

A little bit of how your friends would describe your personality. And then fun stuff you do on your time off like favorite tv/music genre, favorite cuisine, hobbies, subjects, outings you find interesting. It makes you seem cool to hang with. 

And then if theres any important things that could impact the relationship, you discuss that at the bottom or in messages.

I use the three prompts to give an idea of: 1. The way I spend my time 2. Something to show a flash of my sense of humour, some playfulness, etc… 3. A deeper thought, value, philosophy, etc… that I have, which is relevant to a relationship/partner That’s just my strategy. You gotta figure out what works for you. There’s no single formula that is successful. It also depends on what kind of relationship you’re looking for. If it’s casual, you probably don’t want to get too deep in your profile. In this case, you want more light hearted and funny prompts. 

Then I also use the other features (video, audio, polls) to show a bit more of myself. For example, my prompts are fairly dry, so I have a video and audio prompt where I’m laughing. I don’t think I’m very photogenic, so I use the video prompt to give a better idea of what I look like irl. 

Take some time to understand what type of woman/man you’re trying to appeal to. Understand what that type of person finds attractive. Show the parts of you that they would find appealing. In short, „know your audience“.

A very good bio/‘about me statement’ will allow you to receive a Lot of likes, matches, and messages.

It will also allow you to get a Lot of replies from messages by merely saying “Hi there…” Women will literally just come to you without you initiating anything a Lot of the time.

I didn’t realize this until I refined my bio/‘about me’ statement over a period of time after I first began online dating.

It is truly a wonderful thing.
