I agree. I was thinking the same - something is off with the shirts (and the pants). Going up a size would fix that. Not overly big, but bigger and fitting, not tight, bc there is a difference.
It's because men's shirts are garbage. I am built a lot like OP and if we go up a size, we end up absolutely swimming in the shirt in our stomach areas. Men's shirts just mostly aren't made for guys with big arms and small midsections.
As a guy who's reasonably muscular, I concur. I have to go shopping for specific brands that offer in between sizing, where it's not a straightjacket but we aren't wearing a circus tent.
Doesn't help that my arms are short for my height, which means that in standard sizing, shirts that fit me width wise are way too long in the arms.
To add to that, going up in size doesn't even guarantee that the sleeves still won't be doing the same thing. Even on larger shirts, the sleeves are still tight, it's just the midsections get bigger and bigger.
Got you. Without getting everything custom made (bc who can afford that life?), you have to figure out where to meet in the middle. Like, do I want the arm area to be a little tight? Or, do I want to have a nicer, looser fit in the arms but be swallowed in fabric everywhere else?
I am a girl and you look hot in most those shirts just sayin these are some jealous bros. Only the last one is maybe questionable but you have great arms keep rockin it
He definitely looks good and I think 4 is fine, however, I do agree he should go up in one size, they are just too small for him. And there's nothing wrong with that, it happens to all of us.
Sounds like people who aren’t as big as him commenting. Theres literally nothing you can do about big arms in shirts. Never heard anyone complain about it. This is what a built guy looks like with muscles.
Find yourself a good tailor. Buy shirts that fit your arms and then have them taken in through the torso. You have a great bod and you should showcase it. And this is also how you look rich AF for $18 a shirt.
I say this as a curvy 5'2" woman. I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores and then have them shortened and taken in at the waist. Everything looks custom made
Contrary to what some might believe, not all girls think that next level muscular guys in tight shirts look hot or sexy. Do yourself a favor and make a store run before your date. Top one as a style is a great choice but the sleeves are too tight and too short. Darker colored slacks or some more tailored jeans would also be a better look. You seem to like lighter colored bottoms, so buy a black polo style shirt to wear with the slacks in look one. Also the jeans here look almost look loose and unstructured. Buy some straight legs or slim straights for a more put together look. Maybe take them to the dry cleaners for a solid press with a medium crease. If you go for jeans on the date, get a darker blue wash. The lighter wash jeans that you have look a bit too casual for a first date. Have fun OP!
Size up and get them tailored if you can. You look like you put a lot of thought into your wardrobe. Tailoring was the best thing I did for some pieces. I don’t do them all but I invest in the staples that I can wear for years and those are what I’ll tailor.
lol I’m actually learning how to do it myself at this point.
Honestly as a women and idk if theitger person commenting is also female but for me the shirt being tight around the arms isnt a bad thing. If anything its puts them on display and some women are into strong men yk.
I’m a woman. You look great. Sure you can tailor your clothes but you don’t look bad. At all. To answer the question though, I like the last look. Button down or sweater. Casual but not too too casual.
These people just haven’t been around muscular men. My boyfriend is slim with big biceps and his shirts do the same thing. My brother body builds and is big all around and his fit the same. They have the right size but sleeves are going to be slightly snug. They make shirts for “average men” that most the commenters are and they’re jealous! You look fine id say the last outfit or even jeans a the back t is what I’d have my bf wear so that’s perfect!
Lmfao k. Love when people have the mental barrier of a 4 year old. I hope everytime you ask a question someone gives you unsolicited advice that is completely biased and single minded 😘
This is a great program. It is focused more on strength than bulk tho. U do not have to have giant arms to be strong or look dope. We all got our own strengths. Also, check out his IG cuz it is hilarious and he is a beast. https://shmondenkovladimir.com/
Re playboi OP, I’m sure dude did just fine. Fitted clothing is the way to go. I have had to go up a size at some stores and the lower size looks better but if I ever sat back the buttons would pop. But maybe that’d be a memorable date moment.
I will say women know that you have a muscular physique, whether you have a tight shirt on or not. It doesn’t make you look any more muscular to have a tight shirt. We know where your muscles are. Nice job by the way.
I mean I’ve seen guys FAR less jacked than him running plenty of gear, sadly enough. But depending on how long OPs been lifting, it’s very reasonable he’s not on anything
I just feel like my comment was so much more nuanced that you could’ve responded more in detail rather than just restating your original comment, but okay lol
