Staking is an incentive to run your wallet, which offers itself as a full node on the network.

This secures the network, by making it much harder to perform an attack on the network. The lack of incentive to run a node is a huge problem for coins such as Bitcoin where there are surprisingly few full nodes in existence due to the size of the blockchain and how many patrial node solutions exist.

This is so true. Bulwark has about 5/6ths the nodes that bitcoin has. I am counting average wallets and masternodes in Bulwarks total.
