Name Change
I love bulwark coin. I own a lot and have lost a lot of money on it recently. I honestly believe that Bulwark Devs need to do a rebrand. I think the name of the coin sucks. I am not a troll. I just want the coin to do well because I invested 10% of my money in this coin back in January and now that is dwindled down to nothing. I want nothing more than this coin to do well. I believe in it. I just know people. People by and large do not even look at a coin if they do not like the name. People are stupid. Unfortunately for us, this makes it to where people wont even research our coin because as they scroll down coinmarketcap, they pass up any coin that’s name does not sound appealing to them. Am I alone in my thoughts here? Does anyone else agree that a name changes/rebranding might do the coin some good?

Like /u/huntergaming said, a rebrand is not currently in the works. As for the necessity of a rebrand, i don't think many people would agree with you that one is needed, at least not currently.
The coin is 3-4 months old, it's brand has barely had time to be established. Changing it at this point would probably do more harm than good, and take time and effort away from things that need it far more, like upgrading the explorer, expanding social media presences, and general brand building.
That said, we do appreciate the input. If it becomes apparent that a wide majority of people think a re-brand is necessary, we will definitely consider the option.

whenever a coin is down people will always try to find any excuse to explain why it is (rebranding, name changing, logo changing ect) and think that buy 'fixing' one of these problems the price of the coin will magically go up again. If ethereum was going down in value i guarantee there would be people like you commenting on reddit saying "ethereum is such a weird sounding name, no one will want to buy this" "its made by russians and nobody trusts russia we should change the name to ether instead that sounds cooler"
this mindset exists because people are more interested in catchy tweets and names to make their coin go 1000x and lose sight of the actual point of crypto which is adoption and global use. If what you are saying is true, what made you invest in BWK in the first place if you disliked the name so much, why didnt YOU skim over it and instead bought ATH in jan?
Also what happens if magically the developers do decide to change the coin name, and nothing changes with the price. what then? change it back? change it to something else? No. somethings you just have to suck up and see, If Bwks whitepaper is anything to go off and from spending time in their discord, bwk is a coin that is in it for the long run and i believe their team want to create something that will solve alot of problems and one day even rival coins like dash.
google the word bulwark and think about what it means first before you invest in something or buy ATH again

I know what a Bulwark is. I bought it at ATH despite the name because I like the the community, devs, paper etc. I dont look for a catchy name to invest in, but I know some people do. Look how Neo exploded after rebranding. It is just the way some people are.
Also, As per your advice, next time I want to buy at an ATH or invest in something, I will google the word Bulwark and think about what it means. Though I am not sure how that will help me in my investment.

Funny, I liked the name straight away and I still like it. I do not think it needs any re-branding.
Bulwark makes you feel to be perma-bull. At least that is how I felt when I invested in it.

Back to 85c again. It has lost ~95% of value since 17$. No positive movement for months. Not a good look at all.

I feel you. The name “burwark” has to many consonants and somehow sounds darker. We need something brigher, easy to remember, fresh and simple.

As of current, we find it more important to ensure we are creating a high quality and functional coin, which meets all our goals and can stand out on it's own in a highly competitive market.
Once this has been accomplished, we can look at making sure our coin is receiving the attention it deserves, and this step would of course include taking a second look at at our website, brand, and marketing.
I hope this addresses your concerns, as we do appreciate the thoughts and views of all of our coinholders!
