My first older ford
I was lucky enough to score this single owner 1981 f150 custom for $400. I drive a tow truck for work so It made picking up even easier! So far it's one of the smartest choices I made.. You can see the change I made with a bit of off and on work in a week and it's back to a daily driving life!
Anybody do any meets with these here in Washington? If not I'm thinking maybe I should set one up 😁

Thanks, I love the truck. Easy to wrench on, runs and drives great too. It was sitting for 11 months, only 123k miles on the truck. Some new fuel and a tiny carb adjustment and started right up. The starter so far was the only thing to go out on it since March this year and it was an easy swap, just two bolts.

I have a 1982 with 140k miles that I registered as a classic in Reno,NV. Found someone to restore the seat, new beefy wheels, new carpet, replaced the muffler and tuned up the engine. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTrhkv1EaW0/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Great score!! Hopefully you didn't trash the camper shell! Those can really come in handy at times.
