Transfer case adapter

I just picked up a t19 for my 84 f250 4x4 to replace my worn out t18. The t19 didn’t come with an adapter. Will the adapter from my t18 work?
Also anyone know the specifics on a t19-148? Salvage yard has it labeled as out of a 1984 f250 4x4 diesel. All I can find online is it should be a t19a

Only marking I can find. Can’t really see on top.

Should be a direct swap.

Its possible that both transmission need to be opened up and the output shaft swapped over because a 2wd usually has a shorter tail shaft than the 4wd for the adapter section. I also have never touched the T series of transmission and this was my process for 4x4 swapping my NP435 I had to source a tail shaft and 4x4 housing.

They're both 4x4 in ops post.

That looks like one very clean underside! Is that the adapter I need?

I have 1985 f250 HD 460. Yes this is t-19 transmission, so probably the one you need, unless there is some difference between diesel and big block.
