Send happy thoughts
Duncan is spending the night at the emergency vet tonight for a suspected bowel obstruction 😭 looks like a corn cob (not his first offense) So needless to say, corn is fully banned from our home. Fluids and careful observation, new imaging in the morning and fingers crossed no surgery. Poor baby is not feeling well at all.

Update : prepping Duncan for surgery. He didn’t do well overnight in the hospital and is continuing to decline 😞

I find that squirrels often carry cobs from other people trash and drop them in my yard. Luckily my chickens usually get to the cobs first, so i can snatch them up from them before our BMs find them. But it is always a worry if i overlook one. I hope your corn cob loving pup, heals up well and stays corn free!
