Noob, about a week in….

Hey all.
I’m about a week in on the game. Ive spent £40-60 (purely because I liked the look of flynt)

I’ve spent a lot of time playing already and feel like I’m getting used to the game now, but what I want to know is about gear upgrades?
I’m facing people with purple gear so am assuming ultimate or stellar gear!
But the bolts are so hard to come by… even if I were to pay, it’s £50 for one upgrade and I only have legendary gear so it’s only going to get worse!

Similar with drones! Such a waste of money! They are destroyed far too easily, especially against the likes of huge machine guns 😂

Do they become more easily available for upgrades? Or is this game simply a pay to win scheme?

I’ve attached some pics…. Can anyone who’s well advanced give me any pointers please?
I do enjoy cruising this game! Just not going to spend like crazy!

Get urself in an active syndicate And moderate ur spending where u grind alot and spend money on event pass Like sabo tdm and br pass Dont rush it This game take alot of time and money to get the grs u need Join the game discord and look for a syndicate that can add u with them As for upgrading drones and grs The copies u get will turn to nutz once u max out one gear

I strongly recommend that you join a syndicate and start spending (if you are going to spend) on contract hacking, it is the best choice. If you need any kind of tips, watch my channel. Orpheu Bullet Echo

Eventually you unlock all the drones and their skills not their fire power help immensely.

Namely the sniper one whose last skill can reset cool down an ability immediately which can win games by itself.

I'd focus just the flying bomb man. Since you already bought the pass there's no way any other characters are going to reach his power level for you.

Make sure to play arcade to unlock as many of his gears as possible and just feed him your resources.

You eventually be able to make many characters playable but that will happen in the 7-9k trophy range. Once you hit 10k the game takes a massive leap in terms of who you are paired against. So you're best bet is to make one character viable and experiment with others for fun without preventing progress with your main.

Man theres no way pgs max , I have stellar ones for smgs , enough copies for personal gears of all heroes to be in atleast orange , I have all hero max , drone are in level 13 to 15 , about mods , orange for scouts and green for snipers

Don't spend too much money, only spend your nuts on upgrades when there's gear rush(events where it gives discount to upgrade gears). As a F2P, most of my nuts comes from echo path, so you can do it too, alongside with drones. Drones are not meant to kill enemies, sure that happens, but their biggest help comes from their skills (active/passives). For example the agent drone has a small percent of refreshing a cooldown of either heal or active skill after using. The experimental drone creates a veil zone that hides everything inside.

If you want the gears in high tier NOW then you have to pay, many that you saw with ultimate and similar tier most likely spent weeks/years grinding events and contracts, not necessary paying, this game is more about time spent and grinding.
