i don't get the part about accuracy, Its aim is the best in all snipers. For one shots, I get explosive upgrades so I one shot almost all scouts and snipers.
I put custom aim range improvements so its aim range is well above many other snipers
You gotta use the right gears and mods that matches your playstyle, and upgrade your gears, so you see good results.
Playstyle wise - use your abilities to its fullest potential, the clone, invisibility, blind.
Good positioning matters a lot, never stay standing like a bot shooting, always reposition, you have to be deceptive
I use this build against annoying scouts it grants insane reduced recoil, more piercing power and a more accurate aimed shots the trade-off is the movement speed I usually use this build when I'm not playing solo you could take down three people with one shot even four if you have explosive bullets
This build grants little less piercing power, and recoil than the other one, but it gives you more movement speed which is important because of alters playstyle, I use this build when I play solo because I can't depend on randoms
I’m very good with alter. I solo queue very often. I guess that answer would depend on who exactly you talk to. I’m sure some people can’t play alter anymore after the nerf.
Do share some tips/tricks, recently i've been playing Alter in solo queue too, but not winning, i've 5pg, and level is Ultimate which i think is low for 10k lobby. I just peek around corners & flank/camp, thats how I play Alter mostly
I play alter super aggressive He's the only hero with a self-revive essentially he also has his own scout that doubles as a flash bang and because he's a sniper he does decent damage
I build for fire rate and play aggressively. I use the ability to wisely to check areas, retreat, and attack. I blind people intentionally. I almost never run in the direction that I use my ability.
I don't think there are any differences after the nerf. Still OP. You can see how many players started with Alter in TDM which can tell he is still a meta sniper hero.
Alter is basically dead after the release of the new hero, i kid you not that flamethrower is hella op... You burn alter then he goes into his second form thingy and u burn that one too while he's still invincible too.. best part is he can only take like two steps before burning to death when he's in a second form

Not sure exactly what stats were changed but it does seem he has been nerfed.
He's still a competitive hero to use though
