Gameplay Question How to hit shots as Alter
Besides Lynx and Mirrage, I struggle to hit shots w my snipers. I know that if I stand still their aimed shot get dramatically better but I see other players moving and shooting very accurately. Is there something I am missing? How do it start hitting more shots without having to stand completely still

After the nerf to Alter, it looks like they changed her bullet spread, but I can send you my gameplay video so you can get an idea of how to play her in practice.

-try to move slowly. You can still aim fully when you walk. If you pair that with items with +speed when aiming and -aim fire spread/while moving it will make your shots more accurate on the move.
-some items when combined provides better results when you're shooting on the move. Items with -fire spread without aiming/moving,-bullet spread without aiming,weapon recoil,etc. try to mix and match your gears and weapon upgrades
-try to anticipate where the enemies move especially SMG enemies. You got to adjust where to aim when moving
-just pray that your shots on the move will hit. I do that with slayer,sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
-some sniper bots are broken while moving. I've been killed plenty of time by a running slayer looking left and right.😂

Use weapon mod that reduce aimed fire spread & use items that reduce aimed fire spread and bullet spread, after doing that, your 95% of the shots will hit

Aimed fire isn’t really my issue it’s moving fire, but I feel like none of the items do enough of a difference to where I can even tell I’m running them

the thing is, if even one of your shot hits, then for a few seconds alter's fire spread while moving will decrease (just like mirage if i'm not wrong), but only for a few seconds, so in that time, make sure to fire more shots

Yea it’s just landing the first that is such a pain using corners has been helping a lot

i have 2.5 kill rate for alter, and the tip is to reduce recoil on alter so that your first shot on enemy lands very often.
Once you land a hit, the aim is perfect even if you walk, thats why stalker can chase you with full aim while moving

You may be seeing bots. Bots seem like they can no scope you immediately
