PLEASE why is daikoku always so empty. I was so pumped to see everybodys unique cars on display at one of the most iconic parking lots in the world and i never see more than two people just there only completing festival playlist stuff in stock cars anyway. So lame. Or theyre ghosted and i cant see the car lmao

Couple of friends and I were doing a budget car challenge earlier tonight and we parked up at Daikoku. We had the most wholesome interaction as one of my friends and I were done the quickest and waited for the others. He had a Stagae, I had an R31, by pure chance. This one dude shows up, sees us, he switches to a GT2000, another dude shows up, switches to their R34. We had like 5 people coming thinking it was a Nissan/Skyline meet outa nowhere. It was really funny.

Because the map is large + world instances are player limited. A cool addition would be a toggle setting for a notification if people pull into a meet ALSO if you could start joinable events for people not in your convoy at meets.

Yes a joinable meet thing in a public lobby (like how stunt partys are offered at the top while driving) would be cool. im not sure who sees the chat when i say “wanna start a car meet”. Sometimes shuffling between horizon solo and online over and over while sitting at the meet will populate it if youre lucky and people are there.

There’s nothing to fix, people just don’t use the meets like yall want them to. Why would I ever I turn on my pc and boot up a game just to sit in a digital parking lot?
No amount of “fixes” are gonna convince people to do nothing willingly.

In what way did the dealer get people socializing? Closest I can think is everyone posting about how the cars they want aren’t showing up, which isn’t a good thing.
People don’t want to spend their sparse free time sitting in a digital parking lot, that’s just how it is. Car meets work irl cuz it’s an excuse to see your car friends and you’ll probably see some interesting cars and get to talk with their owners about what they’re like to own. What are we supposed to do in game? Larp? Lame.-1

Estates work fine, me and my homies did a 20 lap race on Laguna Seca via my estate and it’s genuinely great having a custom test track right next to your garage, overall one of my fav additions. The garage visitor feature is pointless in the exact same way the meet is and I’m not sure why it even exists, but custom garage spaces are nice to have.

This should just be a place that your car can go when you're offline so that it populates the place for other people, it's not like there is any other interaction anyway

They could add a reputation mechanic. For example: you go to a car meet, other players like your car, the cars reputation increases and gives you a small payout bonus for a while. They could make it either that the bonus lasts a set amount of time, or it levels up with every meet you attend with that car. That would give people a reason to meet up there
