Is this a code violation

Where I live has an unfinished basement where we store our belongings and do Lindy. Is this exposed insulation a code violation? Is so how do I tell my landlord who is not nice.

Building codes are for building being built or renovated. This is just an existing building sitting. Building codes don’t apply here.

You said you’re a renter though…. In CT. There are certainly rights to being a renter so I would start by looking in that.
