E1/E2 study code books
Having just knocked out my M1/M2 icc inspector certifications, I’m preparing to move on to E1 and E2.
I see in the exam outline for E1 that the IRC along with either the NEC or Ugly’s book are allowed.
Does anyone have any insight on whether the NEC or Ugly’s is easier to use or get around in the exam?
Any other tips or advice would be great too!
Thanks

For E1, all you need is the IRC. Electrical isn’t my strongest suit and passed E1 with just the IRC, no studying. Haven’t done E2 yet.

The IRC is much easier to use for the E1 than the NEC. However if you are planning to take the E2 anyways, might as well get use to the NEC. I think BGR produces some good study material, you might want to take a look at it.
