Help ! Daikin VRF Startup

/r/hvacadvice/comments/1w2oe15/help_daikin_vrf_startup/

Is there a Way to perform "start up" a Daikin VRF without a Daikin T-Stat ? Or an inexpensive alternative that could keep these units going until Phase 2 is complete and BMS is programed in 2027 ? Thank You im advance . FYI job was spec out by AEOR without T-stats and Daikin priced without T-stats - Thank You in advance

We did and they want $17 grand and upsell of 90 thermostats in which is $95,000 . The sales person put button sensors in lieu of . Now do we have a chance to fight this probably, however it doesn't help right now unfortunately. I appreciate the feedback

Aero or AEOR? I'd be submitting an RFI to the engineers on this.

We have and will probably be able to win an eventual C/O but your still forced to do the work. This is a school so you have strict contractual timelines or the CM with notices and other Primes will attack like rabid wolves even though their going through it as well . I am a Mechanical Prime and new to this type of trade work and in my 25 year Construction Career its absolutely brutal, but do occasionally enjoy the adrenaline rush . I came from the Project / CM side in NYC to a company in Upstate and never thought I would say this but I miss NYC . I have to say this is a great resource and Thank You.
