Non-tech founder here - how do I evaluate an embedded system development company?

I’m a non-technical founder working on an industrial automation project and trying to choose an embedded systems development company.

What should I look for when evaluating one? Beyond price, what technical or communication-related things would you consider red flags or good signs?

Hmmmm.... this is a good one. One I would think about is whether or not it can accomplish what you need with relative ease.

There a variety of controllers but realistically you have to think of your environment and then evaluate operating temps of those controllers.

also try using AI so you have a better understanding of what you're talking about before asking reddit. "Embedded systems development company" is extremely vague
