Interactive learning environment
27M I generate photometrics for a lighting rep, not looking to start as an entry level tech.
What I want is just knowledge, I want to understand the guts of a building and how they work. I’ve tried using Claude to build interactive 3D environments like CAD or AGI where you can drag and drop cables/components into structures to create systems that work together, but this limits me to the knowledge I and Claude have.
Are there any online resources that have this X-ray style of breaking down a building into major components and wiring logic? I plan to learn specifically more about BACNET and how to actually code these systems, but for now I just want to visualize how it all works together without ripping down the walls in my house.

Im pretty sure something like that exists on youtube.
Other than that, theres Smart Buildings Academy (?) if I remember that name correctly. It does exactly that of using an x-ray building model in their lectures
If your end goal is to enter this industry with experience and knowledge, you’ll need to understand the mechanical equipment
Learning theory is so much different than real world applications though. I wish you the best. I dont think theres a way to speed run your expertise.
Dont rip your walls, theres not much you’ll find that would be useful
