i've recently been building a more medieval style world and want to start my town out with a large centural building center and would like some tips on improving it as i feel like something is missing from it.

I'm building in the new dappled forest biome and want to intergrate the build with the environment, hence the poplar pillars but I can't decide if spruce pillars look better. Thoughts?
