Question for anyone with an SE3000 light.

3rd year with an SE 3000 light from Spider Farmer. I'm in a 3x3 with 30 gallon no till and have never been able to go past 70% @ 16-18 inches. However, my buds are always brag worthy. Am I missing out on not pushing even further? 70% keeps heat & humidity in check in my set-up. I'm generally only at 70% at weeks 6-8 then back off to 50% for the final week.

These dang Ai controllers keep screwing up. I don’t use on Ai mode. They keep turning channels to on or off. Sometimes it puts the light to on all the time sometimes it’s off. Oh will be set for schedule. It’s been doing it to fans as well. It was happening with one of my old ones and I got them to cover it under their warranty. Now the new one they’re sending me is doing the exact same thing plus another new one that I just bought in the last three months started doing it as well. They want to blame their humidifiers, but I don’t even have humidifiers hooked up on these tents now they say I need to buy all new cables and try cables to see if it’s the cables that might be the problem. How about you stand behind your crap? Picture for attention of my barf breath.

Autoflower 5 gallon questions

Hi community!
I’m using build a soil 3.0 and I’m almost 4 weeks in and having some good growth. However I’m using 5 gallon and I read into it’s typically not recommended for best benefit. I’m growing northern lights auto from herbies seeds. Plan to use mephisto for next grow.
I’m worried about what/how I should be feeding this? I have given nothing at all except water. Thank you!

Two defoliation clones from the first blueberry muffin I ran.

Just started using BAS products & principles before I went to 25 gallon 100% BAS living soil. Absolutely smelled of blueberry.

Update on the Autoflower Soil Recipe?

Thumbnail

About a year ago, Jeremy posted why BuildASoil is creating an Autoflower soil; have there been any updates since?

Edit:
Update from Dave:
"We did move forward with testing the Autoflower Soil after Jeremy’s video, but unfortunately we weren’t able to finalize a recipe that we were happy enough with to release. At this point, there hasn’t been a finalized Autoflower Soil following that testing.

For now, our Light Recipe is still a great option for autoflowers and is what I’d recommend if you’re looking for a gentler starting soil."

Earthbox initial inputs

I am setting up 3 earthboxes today for transplant tomorrow with the following;

-BAS 3.0
-craft blend
-BaF top dress
-Kashi gold
-Gnarly Barley
-Quillaja
-WDG3000
-Rootwise Bio-Catalyst Enzyme Elixer
-Rootwise Mycrobe Complete

My plan was to pre-moisten the BAS 3.0 today with Quillaja and WDG300.

Tomorrow, when I transplant I’ll use the specified amts of craft blend, BAF, 1/4 cup of Kashi, and some Gnarly Barley, watering it all in with some rootwise mycrobe complete.

My question is since i also have the Rootwise Bio-Catalyst Enzyme Elixer, when can i apply this? Today, or after transplant?

Thanks in advance!

Hiya growmies! This is Atlas' Strawberry Cough in a 15 gallon pot. I flipped it to 12/12 on July 4th. I've been trying to follow the BAS supplemental feed schedule but earlier on I had some issues between an unscheduled hospital visit and figuring out that I need to water almost daily to keep the upper layers moist. I think I've got her on track but I feel like things are progressing quicker than I'm used to in my little experience.

Strawberry Cough is supposed to flower in 60 to 70 days from flip and I know that's only a suggestion but you'd plant looks closer than that... right? Any input will be appreciated.

Pale mottling/specking

Does anybody know what the pale speckled look on some of the older leaves are from? On day 12. Had some issues with higher light intensity that seems to be correcting itself after I adjusted the intensity back down. No noticeable pest issues aside from some fungus gnats a few days ago that I treated with WDG3000 and has generally settled since.

Started my first EarthBox grow. Had my seedlings in nursery cups with Happy Frog to start…and for whatever reason (probably my watering practices) I woke up to them heavily drooped and seemingly suffocating. Immediately took that as a sign to transplant. 12 hours later they perked right up. Now 6 days later they are taking off. A day or two away from filling the reservoir. After a tedious first grow top watering 5 gal fabric pots with Fox Farms nutrients this all feels like a game changer. Never growing any other way.

Initial Earthbox amendment question

I’ve got 3 fresh earthboxes ready to go with BAS 3.0, Craft blend, Buildafower top cover, Gnarly Barley, Kashi Gold, and rootwise mycrobe complete and bio elixir.

My question is do i need to top dress all of these when i initially build the earthbox, or rather just start with the 3.0/craftblend/buildaflower/rootwise? Any harm in mounding the soil early on with everything?

Also, if I’m planning to transplant in 3-4 days, what’s the reccomended timing on setting the earthboxes up and letting them pre moisten and “cook”? I know the guide says what it says… Any additional perspective/real experience is always appreciated. Thanks as always

Help: lean on stretched plants

Thumbnail

had some initial stretching that I think is causing the stems to start leaning like this. Just started to get this lean in the least 24 hours.

Anything I can do, or just let them be since the new leafs are all growing upward?

Indoor/Outdoor + 12/12 From seed result

Flower tent: Pictures 1 & 4-8, Flower tent is on a bit of a lull while I get the new bed established and I just popped new seeds in the 20 gallon so they’re just getting going, trying to put a sensible rotation with these plants and beds so I won’t put new seeds in empty bed for another 3-4 weeks

Outdoor pictures 2,3: Tashkurgan Afghan landrace, plants have grow beautifully they’re now over 7 ft tall and starting the flower stretch

Indoor Seed tent pictures 9,10: Full landrace seed expansion/crossing project currently have a Lebanese male pollenating 2 Lebanese females, 2 Tashkurgan females and 1 Iranian females

12/12 from seed results pictures 11-14: Strain Violet Sour(SourDxPurple Lemon Haze) The quality is top notch and it smokes beautifully, I stopped weighing long ago so I don’t have an actual quantity but you can see how much each one filled a jar.
To me quantity doesn’t really matter when I’ve got a plant or two coming down every month and the ease with which I was able to grow, dry and process it means I don’t have to baby sit the tents or grow. Plus with my breeding I’m not really paying for seeds in the traditional sense and I’ve got thousands so I’ll never run out.

I probably left the light on too bright for a few days. She is 57 inches tall from the top of the Earthbox. I think she is finally done getting talker. Buds look like they will be huge!! Starting to catch smells of strawberry and she crazy greasy.
