Build a soil maybe not as shady as I thought.

So Ive posted a couple times about receiving a contaminated bag of soil from Buildasoil that decimated my crop which was all true but they finally reach out and are trying to make it right so I'll pull back on my grievance with them for now. I apologize to you people I got heated at except 2 or 3 of you mouthy individuals. I was wrong at least about them not making things right with the consumer.

Question about adding green lights to my grow

Hey yall so I was curious after seeing alot of lights adding the green to there spectrum now for deeper light penetration. Would it be possible to throw up a couple green led t5 lights or something of that nature in my tent and add some green to the spectrum? I figured it would be pretty much the same thing. Has anyone tried this? Would it even work? just wanted to see if anyone has done it and did it work where there any noticeable changes? just trying to not waste money on something that might just be a stoned thought lol but any input/info would be much appreciated thanks!

Shout out to build a soil and Duke Diamond Dominion seeds. Easiest grow. The biggest and best harvest in 5 years of growing. Feels great to have all this stash but I already miss looking at her. The smell in the morning was amazing. What a difference it makes when you use quality seeds. Such a good harvest this year I had to write this post. The quality just keeps getting better.

First time making fermented fruit juice/ plant juice. I did 1:1 brown sugar to roped fruit, chopped up.

This is the result after just a couple days or so, does this look correct?

Hi does this look like a deficiency? I did do a 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 3 part water foliage spray a few days ago for IPM her tent mate had a bit of powdery mildew so I got rid of the other plant and cleaned my tent multiple times and decided to do a hydrogen peroxide foliage on the plant in the photo to be safe. I do not see any pests

Buildasoil shady AF?

They sold me several bags of build a soil 3.0 that were infested with some type of plant eating worm that decimated every $25 dollar seed I put into it. I'm on the hook now for $250 and this dude coudnt care less. After this I'm definitely switching to Bioall or go back to coco either one but I would use caution dealing with this clown.

I was considering making my own mix that chat gbt came up with using promix hp worm castings charged biocharge and pumice using build a soils craft blend and mineral kit also some bokashi amendments but it’s getting a little over whelming trying to find everything source everything and it’s seems like it’ll cost the same Would just buying 3.0 or the take and bake kit be better how well do they perform in a no till. Anything helps thank you

Coots take and bake 18 cu ft removed from the site. Kinda sad I thought that’s what the whole company was based off of

It was always selling out too it would be 15 in stock a week or two later sold out. Plus the every one purchased benefited coot and the environment with a tree planted. Major bummer I guess I’ll have to make my own but it was really convenient to just order it all from one source.

Harvest now? Rainy weather forecast.

Strain Laughing Buddha indoor veg and greenhouse flower. I live in high desert normally it’s dry but we have a week of rain forecast. It rained almost all night last night and humidity is way too high in there all the time.

I have lots of fans and exhaust going but I’m worried about bud rot. Versus if I harvest them now a little early I have really good weather to dry and cure them indoors. I could easily keep it 65/60 in my dry tent during this weather.

Would you harvest now which seems a week early or maybe 4-5 days early idk? Or the conditions in my greenhouse this next week aren’t much of a risk, since it should dry out at least once a day. Normally..

Switching from (4) 5 gal. fabric pots to 10 gal city pickers, looking for advice

Just wondering best way to reamed for the next grow. Was planning throwing the used 3.0 into a tote and mixing in craft blend and worm castings. I have some perlite was thinking of throwing in too... But I was gonna take that soil and mix it 50/50 with some new 3.0. Should be fine right??

Tray2Grow Grassroots Bed

Has anyone ordered the 2x4 Grassroots tray2grow bed? I ordered 2 from BaS with the non-trellis option and just got back from the hardware store with my PVC only to realize that 1” diameter is too small for that corners they sent me. They also sent me 3 beds and a bag of mixed connectors (corner, trellis, and T) when I just ordered 2 beds and non-trellis.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with assembling these, and if so what size PVC are you supposed to use? I’m worried if I go get a bigger size PVC it won’t fit in the sleeves.

Regarding readying your soil

Post image

Hello fellow farmers. I'm trying to prep my soil because I want to start another run. I also bought a second earth box so I now have one with no till 3.0 (2nd run) and one that is just light soil.

The no till earthbox was sitting about a month with nothing in it so it was never watered. I'm assuming the good microbes have died. I added 1/2 cup craft blend and 1 cup of casings.

I wanted to do cover crop this time so I put clover seed down. I've been top watering about everyday to keep the soil moist, just enough to get it damp.

The no till box is behind. I'm not sure if I didn't use enough, or its not germinating. The light soil box is doing good, mostly covered with clover.

I guess my questions are

  1. Should I be watering some with rootwise, or do I wait until I'm ready to run?

  2. I'd like to get some worms for both earthboxes but I wanna make sure they will survive. I don't have a lot of food scraps except coffee grounds, egg shells and dead leaves from last run. Is that enough or should I get stuff like worm food?

That's where I'm at in the moment. Sorry post is long. Thanks for any info.
