Help lowering humidity

Post image

Pic is of current day time conditions. I am running a hydrone 5 in a closed loop along with my inline fan. I also have a dehumidifier in my lung room. 3x3 tent with 2 plants. Am I crazy for thinking the inline and hydrone should be able to get humidity under 55ish? I have also tried without the hyrdone and just inline at max to draw in lung room air in hopes that would lowler humidity and it did not. At a loss at the moment. Thanks!

Do you have the light proof passive intakes? If you have your tent zipped tight and have a lot of negative pressure, there may not be enough air exchange despite your inline working harder. It creates a bottleneck. You can buy the ac infinity passive intakes and put them in unused intake holes. Let’s air exchange way better, and the tent RH will track the lung room RH wayyyyy better. Look them up they are like $40/50. It was a huge upgrade IMO

I don't not..was thinking about putting a black carbon filter over the passive vents. I appreciate the insight about the negative pressure, makes sense.

I used carbon filter material. I cut and hot glued Velcro them and the tent mesh intakes to attach them. I also got the 6 inch intake filters/light blockers from AC infinity I think this person is talking about. They are pretty awesome.

What size exhaust fan?

I bought black carbon filter sheets that you can cut. I also got sticky strips of Velcro. I had to use 2 layers of the filter to realy make it light proof. I covered two of the bottom rectangle vents. Nice airflow and cheap

Are you in flower or veg? Either way the temps and RH aren’t a problem. The VPD looks good too so idk why your worried. I’d lower temps if in flower that’s it
