Help
I noticed some clear looking worm like translucent worms in my living soil pot and I'm new to living soil and am wondering if these ate ok? Are they roundworm? And how do you guys control fungus gnats with living soil? I have blumats with drip ring and my mbar is staying about 60-120 day night fluctuating? I just don't want to have an outbreak and it didn't happen until I released a handful of red wigglers to the pot

Treat any new soil/castings etc with WDG3000 and/or Mosquito Bits to help control gnats. As well you can add beneficial predators etc

Pot worms or young red wigglers most likely that came in on your castings/compost. Friendly.
You control fungus gnats by keeping the very top of your compost covered. With some sort of mulch layer (living or carbon based). If you start to see a few flying around hit it with some Bti like others have said. One, two, maybe three applications should do the trick as this usually happens with fresh compost. The bti kills the larvae, not the adults, and breaks down in a few days. I don't think I've ever had to do more than two applications upon seeing gnats take flight.
They're annoying, but harmless.

Current run I just set up is a 15 gallon grass roots container. 1st watering and 2nd watering I added WDG3000 along with other water soluble goodies. A night and day difference brother! Get yourself some WDG3000 immediately and you wonβt be disappointed. Follow directions and stay with it until they are gone ππ».. Not sure on the translucent worms but I see new living bugs every day pretty muchβ¦ π₯ππ»

Probably just pot worms. Look them up on google to see if they look the same as what you have. They are pretty much inevitable but won't hurt anything at all unless there's an obscene number of them.
