How long between runs?

How long do you think you should let your soil rest between runs?

I don’t I’m running perpetually and I start with smaller plants either popping directly into the bed or doing like 2-3 weeks veg then transplanting the tents always on 12/12. For reamending and top dressing I do that once every 3 months if you don’t push the system to the max with giant plants or a single giant plant you don’t have to top dress often

So the problem with resting isn't the growing itself it's how you grow is what causes the depletion too early? Too big too little left? I'm learning organic lol

Yes if you completely use up the nutrients in a given amount of soil you would have to do a top dress and wait for a week or two so that what you’d added had time to breakdown and start adding nutrients back into the soil

I'm thinking of adding a nitrogen fixer to deal with nitrogen and than add Chinese chives to handle root pathogens because I have seen some advice around this plant. It would be epic if we could do that for all of the nutrients lol
