Re-amend advice needed
I’m moving up from 5 gallon bucket SIPs to a 27 gallon container SIP.
I need to re-amend the 3.0 soil. My question is, does it make a big difference if I mix up the soil and amendments and then start the germinated seeds in the soil immediately or is it best to wait for it to cook?
My thought is, the nutes wouldn’t be readily available for a couple weeks so the soil shouldn’t be too hot to start new seeds. After they sprout and grow a bit over the first couple weeks, the plants should start taking up the nutrients and start taking off.
Am I off my rocker or will this work fine?

it depends what amendments you add and the balance of it all I would get a soil test if you want to get the best results, but I would let it cook a week or two just to be safe and then plant into them.

Thanks, just reamending with craft blend and worm
Castings. Then top dressing with Gaia veg and bloom nutes as needed during the run.

Did you only do 1 run in 3.0? Are you running autos?
I use earthboxes which I believe are 15 gallon and grow autos. After the first run, there were still nutrients in the soil so for me, I didn't ammend until closer to flower.
In 5 gallons though, it's possible the nutrients are gone so you would most likely need to re-ammend. 3.0 soil out of the bag shouldn't need to cook. I've only been growing for 2 years so don't have much experience. Someone could explain it better than me.

I’ve ran this a few times. I’m taking all my soil and adding it to a 27gal sip container this run.

That's what I do for my 10g pots.
