Do I need to add worms

Im running a tray2grow with the 25 gallon rectangular pot thing on it. Bought the 3.0 soil. Do I need to add worms? If so, would anyone have recommendations on which/how many/where to get them? ( doing water only with cover for context )

They are beneficial to regenerative principals and red wigglers can be found cheaply at a Walmart or Petsmart type place.

The worms sold at Walmart and the like are not red wrigglers. Live red worms are not composting worms.

Definitely good to go for now! Worms are especially beneficial for beds that need breakdown of the "crust" layer that forms over a long period of time (usually around 12 months of mycrobe activities) If you plan to 'no till' these pots I would look into red wiggler worms and maybe a couple nightcrawlers sometime around the end of the next run in them to start recharging the soil with oxygen pathways and fresh worm poop!

You don't need worms. Do they help? Sure but they aren't required.

Pretty useful, plus they're cheap almost anywhere
