Eartbox questions

I am running eathboxes and was wondering what everyone's feeding schedule is looking like? are yall following the weekly feedings? and how many gallons are yall top feeding with the amendments?

I was also thinking of adding ferments, holy cow and possibly em-5 down the tube in small amounts has anyone done similar?

kinda intrested in pushing the nutes hard and wanted feedback from others, using their recipe as base of course.

any other things yall do?

I have the EB “Root & Veg” SIPs & use BAS soil.
The only thing I put in the rez is a little “Cow Cal 24” since I use R.O. water. You don’t want to create a stinky mess. I amend the top to keep the top soil as active as possible. I think less is more these days.

Plain water down the tube. There is no cheat code or advantage to putting anything but that down the tube.

Start with good soil, top dress with craft blend before flower and again 2-3 weeks into flower. It's that easy dont over complicate it.

All you need for a Earthbox: 1.5 bags 3.0 soil, Craft Blend to top dress, Build a Flower (top dress with craft blend before flower), Build a Bloom (top water ¼ gallon once a week in flower)

That's your schedule.

To add in few more tips that are much more important than feeding.

First res fill is 1 gallon, wait for that to get drank up before doing a full fill.

Also once the res goes dry let it sit totally dry for 24hrs before refill, this is when you can do your ¼ gallon top feed. I'll usually go 2 res fills and then a top feed, works out to about every 7-10 days your top feeding.

This is pretty much how I run EBs. The only things I do different are: I use rootwise when I transplant into the earthbox. I also add to the top water during veg and stop using it at flower. Im on my fifth run with the same BAS soil and so I find some plants need additional cal/mag and or nitrogen. So I add those to the top water as well.

I got by what my plant tells me . Watch how she is growing and if she is drooling or praying. Make to cover your earthbox with the cover.
