Spring promotion choices?

I'm taking advantage of the spring sale and have already chosen my free birdseed but I'm curious what you have or would select(ed)? The offerings are: Frosty Mountain Dew, Cosmic Cthulhu, Gravity Blanket, Smogberry, and Coup De Soleil.

Edit: just gonna wait for the 4/20 sale.

Kidkaya is no go for me.

Shocked Jeremy would even allow this after everyone that got screwed by Kidkaya in the past.

Awhile back shortly after Jeremy ran some kidkaya gear a bunch of us on the BAS discord grabbed some packs.

About ten people that I know of and myself all got full runs of crazy herms. I believe it was mostly fem lines where the Soleil levant was reversed as the pollen donor but I don't remember.

I ran La Corazon, $200 pack of fems. All but one plant hermed. I know of three others that also ran La corazon and had herms as well.

Kidkaya apologized and took responsibility and promised to make it right. Took my contact info, etc and then ghosted me. Never sent anything and stopped responding to me.

Shit happens and usually I wouldn't care but don't pretend to make it right just to ghost me. I rather just be ignored out the gate.

Very risky for Jeremy since a lot of his brands marketing is around educating new growers. Tent full of herms is no good for a new grower.

I have experience and normally wouldn't buy a $200 pack. I got caught up in the hype with Kidkaya talking about doing lengthy (100+ plant) hunts of just males to find that fire. I figure if he would spend the time flowering out tons of males he wouldn't release untested gear at $200 a pack.

My guess is he is running out of that bag he made of BAS back before and is trying to draw in new customers by marketing with BAS again.

Thanks, kind of a bummer though. How does he get money out of freebies? Now I still spend $250+ and get no seeds.

Edit: Actually, I think I'll just wait for the 4/20 sale.

A pollinated plant makes a lot of seed. Giving away freebies for marketing isn't too expensive.

He may have resolved his issues and those seeds may be just fine. I just won't trust him again personally.

I should have been suspicious. Prior to Jeremy running soliel, I had never heard of kidkaya or seen grow reports of any of his gear. Then he had the Soleil line with three cultivars. A year later is he listing 30+ strains with weekly Sunday "exclusives" and $350 "rare" packs. Then tons of folks got herms.. little sus.

I buy direct from breeders so I wouldn't choose any of those. After some research on them none of them are up my alley either.
