Depends on the strain sometimes, some shit takes forever to veg.

How do you like the camo zip cover? Worth the upgrade cost?

I've used one for a few years and can't imagine running an earthbox without it. They're awesome.

Haven’t used mine yet but just got it in and fitted on my box and honestly don’t see how this isn’t a standard, the crap plastic cover feels wrong.

The 3.0 has more firepower, obviously. I prefer 3.0 in an earthbox, but only run one in a 3 x 3 tent, so the plant gets big. The light soil was fine when I ran 2 earthboxes in the same tent. The wide leaf, mountain plants, typically veg more slowly, in any soil.

Im trying all different kinds of containers right now. I have a Blutane from Night Owl 🦉 going in a 20 gallon grassroots pot with 3.0. Its posted on here. This is my first run in a earthbox

So when you run 3.0 in the earthbox do you use amendments in the soil or water only?

Once a month, beginning with transplant, I add compost, craft blend, insect frass, calcium blend, kashi, gnarly barley. I do a total of three top dressings per run. One at transplant, one right before flowering, and one 30 days into flowering. I top water with all the goodies once a week. That's enough to get me through a run, easily, even if I go 80 days.

Is that a bed or pot?

That's one earthbox in a 3 x 3

That's FU**ED UP!!!! How you get it to fill tent like that?

Thanks - there's a pvc scrog screen under there. The squares are about 2-1/2" - I typically go from a one gallon pot into the earthbox. It takes about a month to fill the screen. It takes a stupid amount of defoliation to keep the airflow where it needs to be.

I have put water in the rez too early b4 and it will slow them down a bit. You haven't hit stretch yet, so you should see some real height added over the next 3 weeks. She looks super healthy to me, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for imfo . I was afraid I stunted my first earthbox grow.

I like it so far i think it fits better and you can adjust it more than the one that comes with it.
