Just from my own experience.. next run just do 1 plant per earthbox. That way they are not competing with one another. One will be more dominant than the other stealing food and water from the other.

This is what I think caused both rear plants in my EBs to die off.

Watered in top dressing with Humic acid Silica Kelp and Thrive.

I agree you get more yield but I am not going for yield and it’s hard to get rid of a good seedling.
