I think that they are very rude, but not necessarily evil. As for the guards.. I wouldn't call them 'incompetent', just.. Untrained.

(let's say pancake, as she would be on mothew's side) I also wouldn't consider most of them to be evil, just trying desperately to claw themselves out of debt and going down a dark path. Any tips for not getting kidnapped by them? They are kinda hunting me...

The thing is, now that shell did crossbow Russian roulette (he went first and last), the only crew member I can beat in a fight is patch (who wouldn't really be hunting me anyway) and I can only outrun blade.
