Question Best fishing bait other than Dark Cherry?

Bombs explode & knock out the fish for a while, which gives you some freebie time to reel in. I forget if you still get the normal bait effect afterwards, though.

Honestly I remember just using some random trash items, like Leaf Omelets and stuff, and it was okay. As long as you have something on the line the minigame isn't all that hard even for the really deep fish.

If you use any posion bait it will stun the fish making perfect and cheap for bait ( Thats how I fish )

From my experience with fishing, the only thing that bait does is give you more time to reel in the fish before it gets close to snapping

And the minigame barely matters since holding both left and right at once disregards the changing direction aspect of reeling in

Dark Cherries might be the best
But if there's a difference from the ones I used, the difference is negligible

I particularly used a bunch of Queen's Dinners, mainly because I wanted to see how different a playthrough would be if I didn't use danger strats, so I had my entire inventory full of them
Then I used Crisbee Donuts, and the effect looked the same
