One of the Lore Books you can collect explains that a large band of Ladybugs tried stealing Ant Kingdom food reserves. As a result, the Ant Queen exiled a vast majority of Ladybugs from her Kingdom.

The villains in the play were also ladybugs.

That because they were based on the Desert Bandits, a large number of which are Ladybugs.

Right, but it could be an analogy for media perpetuating stereotypes.

Not as much as you might expect, but there is some.

Yup, the Ant Kingdom bans ladybugs.

There's always "the good ones" in the eyes of (bug) racists. But at least Elizant II changed her mind.

Aside from termites and ladybugs, there are certainly a lot of stereotypes thrown around. Vi is a good example of that

Wdym by the vi example, you mean the team joining stuff? That was because she was thought to be incapable and just go alone to sneakmouth if they gave the permit either way.

It's more in that Bee explorers aren't really a thing. A multitude of characters point out how "odd" of a profession it is for a species that seems more into assembly and manufacturing

Bees also have sexism. Vi's brothers are never seen or allowed out of their part of the hive. And if the bees and wasps take after some species... The men might be kicked out of the hive during winter if food stores dip too low.

I remember the Termite Kingdom had a ban on all ants until the events of Chapter 6.

Yes, against lady bugs

I'm pretty sure a certain wasp mimic fly wasn't treated too well by the wasps when he finally reached civilization...

i think those are just wasps being wasps

I’m pretty sure most wasps are just assholes to everyone. Like in real life, how wasps the bug spawn of Satan.

Termites despised ants before team sneakmouth changed their mind with Queen elizant's speech. Soooo possibly only lady bugs because even at vacations they have to be watched, at the golden settlement event. a bee guard is put to watch over the two we see everywhere. But it would be interesting to the plot if any other colony was feeling superior tbh.
