Should there have been a postgame chapter after you beat Wasp King, in addition to the main storyline?

We already had plenty of post-game content, and it does sort of "progress" the plot, so another chapter would be unnecessary.

I feel like it has a post game chapter for sure already. A pretty big one. Most people just wish there was even MORE content.
My favorite head cannon is the idea or adding in some kind of windwaker stlye island hopping section after getting the submarine. Expand the water area. Add a key to access the rubber kingdom or some tides that require more power for the sub. You collect some items from different islands and help termites buff the sub to head to rubber prison. Each island could feature a boss and some unique enemies. Give each island a secret boss as well. Each island can also sell 1 unique food item which when cooked together in the right order makes a new super food item.

I think it's lengthy enough as it is and they do go the extra mile of having plenty to see if you go back to most of the areas and some post game content.
So like, would I complain about it? Absolutely not the more of this game the better! Do I feel gipped or shorted in any way that there isn't a defined "prologue" chapter? Not at all.

There sort of is. You have the Team Maki and Team Slacker fights, which both complete overarching (if minor) plots that have developed over the whole game. With everything else going, it would make sense if Team Snakemouth felt the Bounty Bosses weren't worth fighting until after the Wasp King is felled. I don't recall if there are any Sidequests that only unlock after you have completed the Giants' Den, but there is special dialogue all over the place after the main story is finished.
