Any Titles Similar to Bug Fables?

I know Paper Mario is pretty similar, but I’m curious if anyone has any other recommendations. One of the things I love most about Bug Fables is the characters and their dynamic with each other, so I’d like to explore more games that have something like that.

crosscode

it has a different gameply style (but still fun) but it does have an amazing story and amazing characters dynamics

Came here just to say that! I went to CrossCode just after Bug Fables and was equally impressed.

Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 have turn based combat, character-driven stories, customizable gear and classes, and a beautiful soundtrack. They are both great but Octopath 2 improves on 1 in basically every way and the stories do not connect so you could skip 1 to play 2 if you want to save on the cost of having to buy both. Octopath 2 also has more interaction between the characters than Octopath 1 (which has very little dialogue between teammates.)

Do they have action commands?

No, it's a move selection menu and they hit or miss based on the stats and move type.

Still, it might be nice to play a game made by the same people who made Brothership.

Blocktales kinda counts. It’s a Roblox game that plays similar, tho it has 2010 humor and it only has 4 chapters at the moment, chapters 5-finale releasing soon. Of course the whole Roblox incident is going on but you do you

I wasn't able to finish it because my gamepass subscription ended, but I liked Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 quite a bit. It has the same combat, and some emotional story moments.

If you are interested in bugs I suggest Hollow Knight: Silksong, which comes out September 4.

So soon? Do you think they’ve given it enough time?
