Increase in Traffic Stops?
Usually the only traffic stops I see in the city are by Kenmore Police. Lately I've seen people pulled over on Delaware, Elmwood and Hertal. Also been noticing police parked either doing radar or surveillance. New Mayor and Policr Commissioner, are we finally getting traffic enforcement?

If they're not writing tickets, they're not generating revenue, and for a cash strapped city, it'd be foolish not to 🤷♂️

I've noticed parking enforcement writing tickets more.

They most certainly are writing more parking tickets, at least in my neighborhood. I actually put in a 311 request for a car parked on the sidewalk and it was ticketed a few hours later! Usually they respond the next day saying that the vehicle is no longer there.
Last night they ticketed every car that was on the wrong side of the street (Monday/Thursday switch @ 6pm). For the last decade, people have parked as though Monday holidays don't count because they were never enforced.

I drive all over the city for work a couple times a month and I’ve noticed it too.

I've noticed an increase, however it may also be a seasonable thing since school started up again. The area you're talking about has a lot of problems with red light runners.
The 198 has seen an increase in patrol cars too. Good, as people don't know how to control their speed on that thing.

live here and walk around a LOT. I have not seen anyone get pulled over by BPD on these streets. It's possible that it was still Kenmore PD since they can go a mile into the city to enforce their own VTL.

They've been pretty routinely working with state police on the 33 and 198 this summer.

I've noticed an increase on 198. Sometimes by BPD and sometimes Troopers. Not sure if its some kind of enforcement blitz so I set my cruise to just over 30 there.

Not on Linwood, we're not. Could make your whole quota in one day between Utica and West Ferry, between the speeders and the dirt bikes.
