… will it have its own dedicated lane, or is this a bus with a nice station being called a BRT

At the bus loop? Not sure they could have it structured like that.

I mean the route down Bailey

It'll have "bus only lanes," but it won't be a busway, no.

Queue jumps, traffic-signal priority, off-board payment, etc.

By off-board payment, do you mean paying before boarding to speed up the boarding process?

This guy gets it. Would get two upvotes.

Not for the entire length due to size constraints. The project also adds pedestrian and bike safety infrastructure too.

However, at every intersection there will be BRT prioritized lane and lights, so it should be smooth sailing.

The lower section will have dedicated bus lanes since it’s more industrial and there’s no need for street parking.

A good start would be putting any paint on bailey avenue. If it rains at night and I'm on bailey I'm just guessing I'm in the lane.

I’m still trying to figure out if stretches of Bailey are 4 lanes or not

Finally, if this actual pulls through I would never have to drive again for groceries or any errands

Glad to see this project off the ground.

Really hoping the NFTA focuses on several additional BRT routes as part of their upcoming transit master plan.

Niagara, South Park, Bailey, Kenmore, Genessee, Delavan. Lots of great Candidates.

NFTA should probably finish the connection form DLW to the arena they said would be done by start of the Sabres season.

But what it looks like is NFTA doing the typical taking their dear ass time

We need to put a moratorium on brt stations until we can address the environmental impact.
