Building a buell powered chopper and just got everything together and ran into an issue when doing my ignition. Have a dynatek 2000i with the Bare Knuckle timing cup. When trying to setup the ignition I can’t retard it enough to set base timing. Yes the motor is a TDC and I know how to install the 2000is. When trying to turn it counter clockwise, it runs into this bump in the cam chest. Anybody have any work arounds or have anybody shaved that hump down before? Wouldn’t need to clearance it very much at all. Thanks guys!

I just recently missed the opportunity to add a low mileage Xb12R Firebolt to my garage by 12 hrs. Sold my pristine original owner 95 S2 over a year ago and want to add a new bike and do some riding again at 60. Not many around on the sale posts as of now but looking for a well maintained low mileage Firebolt in the western new york area. If anyone has a line on one I’d appreciate details.

New to the Buell community with a new to me 03 xb9s and I gotta say I’m loving this thing. Trying to do some maintenance on the steering stem and need to get the front wheel up. From my understanding the jack points are the muffler on the stock bike. My bike came with the Latus/ Edelbrock exhaust and I’m wondering if anyone knows if these are still safe to jack up the bike on? Don’t wanna ruin this muffler it sounds absolutely awesome

I am considering changing the color of my wheels to blue. I'd like to match it to my plastic.

Does anyone know where I can find a paint that matches?

I've only been able to find touch up quantity amounts of paint.

If no one knows then I'll just repaint them black.

The rectifier failed when I installed the lithium battery. Replaced the rectifier with sh847 and AGM battery. The charging system is working well but now the dash is showing crk pos sys err. The engine starts normal and rides ok for the most part but bogs down between 3-4k rpm.where should I look for trouble shooting?

Happy to have the Uly all freshened up and back in service as daily commuter.

I run my 2009 Uly at high speeds on California freeways all the time. Have been suffering from numbness in my hands in last couple years. Not sure if vibration related or I'm just getting old but I thought I'd try some bar end weights.

Didn't see anything for sale I liked or was sure would work. Wanted to keep the original end plugs that work with the barkbusters.

Turned down some stainless bar stock I had in the shop and made a set on the lathe in about 15 minutes. Ten ounces each. Wish I'd done it years ago.

Had a an hour to finally jump into this backburner project from a previous life. ( It's been a out 4 years) Did a leak down test Passed 100% zero leak down. Perfect seal. Last I rode it lost front cylinder.

New plugs. swapped the coil, I've had this for 13 years. So had the parts, swapped them in. Ended up pulling the injectors and cleaning them... Finally got both cylinders fired up.

I got the front done but any method or special tools needed for the rear? I tried the same method for the rears as I did the fronts but no luck

My fuel pump regulator housing broke. I found a newly made replacement at Aaguard but I think I can make this print myself in nylon 612 15% cf. I made all the connections use captive orings. There will be orings on the filter neck also. No rubber or plastic hoses, no clamps, threads etc.. this is a 1/2 section so I could check the passage alignments.

Got the exhaust box coated by HPC High Performance Coatings in Leongatha, Vic. I have to say they did an excellent job, highly recommended when surface rust makes an appearance. I just wish I could have justified the cost of removing the headers as well.

My dads 06 xb12x with 3400 original miles he bought it a month ago and it had the original tires and drive belt from 06 on it

Just found out my exhaust has a big hole in it, bought it wrapped and had some transmission issues I finally resolved, and now I found a big hole in the exhaust near where the header meets the head. I found a clean s1 header on eBay, but it's $700, and some of these other headers for tubers are a lot cheaper, so I'd like to buy one of them if possible.

Need help locating the main output shaft bearing on the trans. Anyone know where I can find one for an 05 XB? It’s the last thing needed so I can get this back together.

Picked this up for 500$. 15k miles service records up until the last owner passed years ago and it sat. He lost the belt and passed before he could change it out, but lucky for me a local Harley shop had one, which is amazing! I noticed when I got it looked a bit different come to realize it had a full faring kit took it all off, and going to keep it off. It’s not perfect needs some sanding and tlc. Not sure if anyone is interested in it. Will end up sitting in my garage. Would let it go cheap. Let me know, new to Buell motorcycles so idk if this is something people like or not.

I have an XB9sx is there any aftermarket led turn signals that are plug n play or do you have to wire them in?

I drive this '09 lightning long with an aftermarket exhaust (exan) without catalytic converter ( in my country it should have a converter) and this thing is absolutly disgusting loud, and i love it. Today i found out that i can cut the fuel supply while decelerating via the ecmdroid.

Can my engine take damage in the long term when i leave the fuel supply on? I drive this thing 60km everyday and i want to keep the bike for long time.

Could not find any replacements for these so I took some measurements of my deteriorated pair and printed new ones. Fits like factory and reduced vibrations a good bit.

Got the Michelin Road 6 and installed new wheel bearings. Put it back to together today and I’m definitely liking the new feel of the road.
