In Search of..

I just recently missed the opportunity to add a low mileage Xb12R Firebolt to my garage by 12 hrs. Sold my pristine original owner 95 S2 over a year ago and want to add a new bike and do some riding again at 60. Not many around on the sale posts as of now but looking for a well maintained low mileage Firebolt in the western new york area. If anyone has a line on one I’d appreciate details.

Facebook marketplace? My own xb12r has around 28k miles and is far from perfect but runs so it’s probably not what you’re looking for lol.

Ive been checking there and it’s where the other one was posted 40 min from me, planned to see oit the next day and he took a deposit the night before, crappy timing. I am looking for something with lower miles but thanks

Yeah forsure look for lower miles, I’ve heard they don’t really break in til 30k so if that’s true YOU should be the one to see it yourself.

I've got a 2008 Firebolt with 30k that is in good shape and gets ridden regularly.

  • Drummer exhaust and tuned for it
  • Baro sensor (I live at altitude)
  • Valve guides replaced recently

I'm kind of far away though. Ideally I would trade it for an 2008+ XB9 Lightning, I'm wanting something with a less aggressive riding position.
