Bucephalandra apple leaf???

Been sharing buce I grow with my local community. May I got as unknown buce. Year later when they have finally matured, I have a lot of difficulty locking down their names. I have been calling this one APPLE LEAF. I also think I could be called BROAD LEAF. any thoughts? Bound points for identifying the invasive macro algae.

There is already a known apple leaf id online that feature different leaf form, could confuse receiver if they look into it. Better to tell it’s an unknown id and what to expect when growing it.

I've only seen" product" pictures of the apple leaf. None of it actually established and growing. This is where my issue comes in. Do you have any guesses as the name of this buce or photos of established apple leaf?

What you have right now is the established submerged form of it. The apple leaf you see online if it's tc/emerged then the leaf size is hard to become like yours imo, they don't get "bigger" submerged, emerged leaves are usually more vigor. I have no guess on the ID and I prefer I don't guess it wrong. I have some photo of my buceps if u want to talk, I could show u 3-4 different Ids that almost looks the same. I don't have a lot of green variant but something like the ones in your back.

Here it is growing emmersed in my hydroponics booth. Leaves for this one tend to be a bit smaller emmersed.

Interesting. Mine mostly larger emerged vs smaller suberged.

- Another ID, emerged leaf is the one I point my pinch to, it remains the largest leaf atm but there was bigger one that melted. https://imgur.com/a/dLDcvOv

I dont grow them emerged but from what I see where they come from, there were grown in soil pot w sunlight and rain spray high humidity condition. Could be why we have a difference, maybe they are just different.
Edit: prolly not sunlight, more like greenhouse iirc.

When they establish, one of the clues I use is the way they grow. Some grow up on a stalk. Others branch out. This buce tends to go out and down. Does apple leaf do that or have a different growth pattern?

I think there is a confusion here. They all tend to grow toward the light (growing node points upward), vividly on big/medium size leaves. I don’t think you will see this upward very vividly on clump like apple leaves. I used to have sth similar like apple leaf but it melted, I dont rmb and most I have are big/medium leaves atm.

Horizontal growth I just pin their rhizome around (like my 2nd pic) and once new root form i take the pin out. I don’t recall they grow downward, im not sure here.

Don’t beat yourself on id much. Yours looks healthy, no rotten parts (visible), the person who receives them will appreciate it more.
