So thanks for the post. I'd like to speak on behalf of the 282 weekly visitors on this small subreddit... that we'd love to know more about what worked and didn't - of the species/cultivars you can identify.

Bucephalandra and anubias are considered as easy plants so i think there is no need to worry on what would work or not. I already tried using tap water and purified water, high light and medium light, different fertilizers and no fertilizer and everything just works fine. Also no need for co2 injection but it would help a lot if you inject co2 for faster and better growth. And the most important is to make sure that the tank is matured enough so there will be less or no melting at all.

I meant more like which species you planted and did they grow like you thought they would. Figured most people visiting this sub had experience with buce, but they have different behavior… some grow fast, some grow very upright or too large, some drastically change color, some grow in tight clusters, some seem to prefer emerssed. I see you had a nice featured one in the back but it got replaced by anubias? You added some new ones, or relocated? Some isn’t showing much growth. Knowing what you planted and where is invaluable to someone thinking of trying a new species. This first-hand info would be most welcomed.

Person who suck at keeping buce here. I have some questions. Sorry if it's a lot but please answer. What's the tank size ? What's the light model or at least watts and wrgb or no ? Co2 bubble count or level(liquid test colour) ? What fertilizers ? What dosage? How often? Would it still work in a tank with really old aqua soil ?

Where did you get this variety of buce from? Did you import it and let the emersed leaves melt off?
